Dua Lipa was born 22nd August 1995 in London, United Kingdom. After working as a fashion model her decision was to join Warner Bros Records and release her debut album titled "Dua Lipa" in 2017. The album reached No. 3 on the U.K. Charts. There were eight songs released such as Be the One I.D.G.A.F. as well as New Rules. In the United States it peaked as the 6th most popular album. Lipa has won Brit Awards 2018 for the categories of British Female Artist and British Breakthrough Act. Additionally, the album's platinum certification is recognized throughout the world. Dua Lipa was conceived at the age of 18 in London with Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin lilipa (father). She has Bosnian ancestry through her grandmother.
